Step 1: Design
The process begins with an initial consultation with one of our Virtual Jewelry Experts. This is the time to share your inspiration and any ideas you may have for custom jewelry. Our expert will then move you to the design phase and match you to a dedicated Virtual Jewelry Expert who will help bring your dream to life.
Step 2: CAD Rendering
If you choose to move into the design phase, your dedicated design expert will work with you to create a CAD rendering of your custom piece with up to three sets of revisions. You will develop and refine your design together to ensure that the design you envisioned matches what your designer created for you.
Step 3: Wax Model
Once you are happy with your design, your expert will create a quote based on the approved CAD rendering. We create a resin ātry onā model of your piece for you to test at home and approve before you buy your final piece.
Step 4: Material Selection, Polishing, and Setting
Based on your preferences, we select the highest quality gemstones and metals for your jewelry, ensuring the final piece has exceptional quality and luster. Once materials are chosen, skilled artisans meticulously polish each part, bringing out the best smoothness and texture. Then, expert setters precisely place each gemstone in its designed position, ensuring every stone is secure and flawless.
Step 5: Cast & Set
Ready to commit? Once youāre ready to move forward, our jewelers will get to work turning your dream into a reality following your final design approval. Your dedicated design expert will create a final quote based on the final approved design, assist you through the checkout process, and submit your design for production.
Step 6: Finishing Touches
Your exceptional creation is made within 20 business days following final design approval and is shipped within 2 days.
FAQ
I received my "try on" model and I want to modify my design (or it doesn't fit). What happens now?
It is very easy to make changes to your design.Contact your design expert and they will arrange a follow-up session to walk through any adjustments your ring requires. Your design expert will also track the progress of your model and follow-up with you regarding next steps.There will be plenty of check-ins to ensure the finished product is exactly as you envision before we head to production.
Can I use my own stones or make a custom piece from jewelry I already have?
We love that you source your own stones. To ensure the perfect setting suited to the dimensions of your perfect stone, or rework jewelry you already have
